The musicians of the Parish lead weekend Mass congregations in song. Instrumentalists, choir singers, and cantors of all ages provide musical leadership to our congregations, adding significance and sanctity to the Parish’s Masses.

Providing music serves both a spiritual and practical purpose for the Mass. Musicians typically sing hymns relevant to the season and the week’s readings, and often provide musical accompaniment for prayers during the Mass. The providence of this accompaniment not only serves as a way of unifying the congregation during the celebration of Mass, it also contributes to the Mass’s sanctity and reverence.

Musicians usually provide music at Mass once in a month, although there is no upper limit as to a musician’s contribution. A number of musical groups currently exist, all of which are willing to add members to their efforts.

Contact/joining requirements

All musical groups are very approachable, and one need only approach the group before or after Mass to enquire as to participation. Musical experience is appreciated (though not essential), and most musical groups rehearse prior to their rostered Mass. For further information, contact the Presbytery at your convenience.

All Saints Prayer

God of all holiness

you gave your saints

different gifts on earth

but one reward in heaven.

May their prayers be our

constant encouragement for

each of us to walk worthily

in our vocation.

We ask this through

Christ our Lord.

All holy men and women, pray for us.
